* Some owners have found that their horses have in the past shown sensitivity to Tea Tree oil with other products, not ours. Our experience, however, has been that using a high quality Tea Tree oil blended with other oils lessens or eradicates any potential reaction. If you are at all concerned that your horse may not tolerate a product containing Tea Tree, please choose one of the Magic Manuka products instead, purchase a remote consultation, book Heather to visit you if you are fairly local, or, contact us directly for advice.

Best applied to clean dry skin, but can be applied to freshly washed legs as long as they have been towel dried first. Being natural the balm can harden in very cold weather. It is advisable to warm a small amount of balm between the figures prior to application. This makes applying the balm easy and more economical. When applying around the heels you will notice that the natural ingredients in the balm create a film of protection. The balm does not need to be applied as thickly as non-natural products. The ingredients are highly antibacterial and will continue to work throughout the day.

The balm is best removed with Winter Relief Shampoo.

Impressive results have been seen with this balm.

This shampoo is SLS free (sodium lauryl sulphate). SLS is found in most modern day shampoos and cosmetics and research has shown that it can cause skin irritation and hair loss. I have therefore decided to use SLS free shampoo to minimise these risks, especially when dealing with already present skin problems.
