Mud Defender is a dry supplement containing herbs such as echinacea, calendula and garlic to help horses and ponies maintain a natural resistance to mud-dwelling bacteria and support healthy coat and skin.

Heather's mare Amberley, was one of the horses that was part of the trial in during the winter of 2013/2014.  Amber being an elderly mare with a compromised immune system had suffered from mud related skin issues the previous winter. Therefore, Heather was keen for Amber to be one of the trial horses for Hilton Herbs.  During the trial Amber's coat and skin remained in tip top health, despite the weather being wet and the mud in the field and gateway being particularly bad that year.
